1. Introduction

Welcome to Spokane Preinspection. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking an inspection or using our website.

2. Services Offered

Spokane Preinspection provides mobile vehicle inspection services including:

  • Pre-purchase inspections for buyers
  • Pre-sale inspections for sellers
  • Post-purchase inspections
  • Optional add-on services such as vehicle history reports

3. Nature of Our Services

Important: Our inspection is an assessment of visible and apparent issues at the time of inspection. It is not a warranty or guarantee of the vehicle's condition.

Our standard inspection covers:

  • Test drive evaluation
  • OBD-II diagnostic code scan
  • Engine compartment inspection
  • Underside and chassis inspection
  • Tires, brakes, and suspension assessment
  • Exterior and interior condition check

Deliverables include a written report and comprehensive video review of the vehicle.

Our inspection cannot detect:

  • Issues that are not visible or apparent at the time of inspection
  • Intermittent problems that do not present during the inspection
  • Issues that require specialized diagnostic equipment not part of our standard toolkit
  • Problems concealed by recent repairs or cleaning

4. Customer Responsibilities

By booking an inspection, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate vehicle information (year, make, model, location)
  • Ensure the vehicle is accessible at the scheduled time
  • Have authorization from the vehicle owner for the inspection
  • Inform us of any known issues or special circumstances

5. Fees and Payment

Service fees are communicated clearly at the time of booking. Payment is due at the time of service completion. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment methods.

Current pricing:

  • Buyer Inspection: $225 (tax included)
  • Seller Inspection: $275 (tax included)
  • Extended service areas may incur additional travel fees

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your appointment at any time before the scheduled inspection time at no charge. Please provide as much notice as possible.

No-Show Fee: A $50 fee applies if you fail to make the vehicle available at the scheduled time without prior notice.

Refunds: If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us within seven days. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

7. Liability

Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for any damages, losses, or expenses arising from your reliance on inspection results, including but not limited to:

  • Vehicle purchase decisions
  • Repair costs for issues discovered after the inspection
  • Loss of use or consequential damages

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spokane Preinspection, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal information necessary to provide our services. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

Payment card information is collected securely and used solely for processing payment. We implement reasonable security measures and retain data only as required for business and legal purposes.

9. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes become effective when posted to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Spokane County, Washington.

11. Third-Party Service Providers

Inspections may be performed by independent contractors. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure quality and consistency, liability for third-party providers is limited as stated in Section 7.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
